In this piece, Cathy  explores the objectification of the human body. Using actual cigarette butts and ash, after placing them in her mouth, she becomes a human ashtray. And then, looking at her body, an Asian female body being an ashtray, she wonders what people would think about this piece based on the information. This piece tells a story Cathy does not wish to say directly. She wants her audience to understand the struggle when there are cigarette butts in her mouth that people use to put out. The pain and struggle cannot be said when there is no way to tell. However it does not erase their existence.
